Important Notes

EMD Log book
The current EMD Logbook is an interim version, specifically prepared to meet the requirements for MHA applications due on November 5, 2025. A revised version with updated requirements will be published on this platform in due course.

5 years clinical experience
New officers seeking to join as PPTUK must possess a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience.

9 years Service Requirement
For the MHA application due on November 6, 2025, officers are required to have accumulated at least 9 years of total service. This period must include a minimum of 2 years of service within PPTUK. It is important to note that the total service calculation does not mandate a separate 5 years of clinical service; the 9-year total and 2-year PPTUK minimums are the governing criteria for the MHA application.

UKI, UKKP & UKA
Medical Officers currently serving in the Infection Control Unit (UKI), Occupational Safety & Health Unit (UKKP), or Public Health Unit (UKA) are eligible to be considered part of the PPTUK for the 2026/2027 MHA application.
